This handsome little devil is now 18 months...
(OK so he is really 19 months but I've been wanting to do this for a month now...just a little behind...what else is new?!?)
My baby boy is no longer a baby ...sigh. Oh how I love him! So many of you know what I'm talking about when I say what a joyous day it is when your baby turns 18 months...NURSERY here we come. Carter was so excited, for the last few months he has been standing outside the nursery door pounding on it because he wanted in! So what did I do on my first Sunday kid free...Taught my Taylor's class. How about my second Sunday without any kids....stayed home with sick kids....how about my third Sunday you ask...sat by myself because they combined priesthood and relief society but my hubby had to teach the youth. I do have to admit though that this has been a little hard for me. I usually am jumping up and down as I kick my 18 month old in the door. This time though I have no little baby on the way. It feels so weird, like I entered the next chapter of my life already. Then Monday rolls around and I am reminded that I really have not entered that chapter because I still have three kids home during the day. So I guess I've just entered my next chapter at church.
But I must tell you that this little guy just pulls on my heart strings. He is starting to talk so much. He knows all the important words like COOKIE and BALL. He throws in a mom here and there along with a look as he points. His new favorite word is PUPPY! Who knows I may finally cave one of these days and bring home a puppy. He loves all his sisters and thinks he is as big as his big brother. I'm going to cherish every moment I have with him because I know all to well how fast they grow up! I LOVE YOU LITTLE MAN!
